The art of classical calligraphy is famed across the Muslim world, and many of the languages that are written in an Arabic-based script have fine examples of calligraphy in manuscript, carvings and other décor.
With Pashto, this is harder to find, but I include an example here. It is a peace message for Afghan unity entitled سوله او یوالے (Peace and Togetherness) that reads beautifully.
